The NYT had bunch of opinion pieces today on the progress of cancer research in this country. I don't know how long they'll be linked on the main opinion page, but it's interesting (and frustrating) stuff.

Speaking of my pretty new layout, I forgot that yesterday was Ewan's 36th birthday. Thank goodness I have pennilesspoet17 around to remind me of these things. :)
