Kitty update: She was doing much better, to the point where this morning I was prepared to say she was back to about 90%, and then the rest of the day I feel she's backslid. Hasn't eaten all that much, has been drinking a lot, and just seems more listless than she was yesterday. Don't know if the crappy snow/rain weather is playing into that; god knows I've been listless today myself. But it's been very frustrating and worrisome. I guess all I can do is see how she is over the next couple of days and then try to figure out if I need to take her back to the vet. Whimper. I've really had quite enough of this already, thanks. :(

I did venture into the city for a bit yesterday, and I guess thanks to my not going in until after dark combined with how ass-cold it was, it really wasn't that crowded, which was nice. Actually got some Christmas shopping done and was bad and bought a Liz Claiborne bag for myself at Filene's Basement. It's similar to this only in teal. I looooooove it. It's such a great size for a work bag for me. It was only $35, and I figured I owed myself a treat what with everything I have going on. :P

I was pleased with the elimination on TAR tonight, and that's really all I have to say about that.

Was that our last episode of Desperate Housewives thanks to the strike? Because, HOLY CRAP! It's not often a show like that can make my jaw drop in horror, but it did tonight.

And although I didn't post about it last week, I just want to say how very much I love Dirty Sexy Money. I love it a lot.

Star Wars galaxy map. Pretty cool. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] velocityofsound for the link.

Why Jamie Bamber wins at life. Although when it comes down to it, I'd rather have had the phone call. Because in the end, it's a dirty towel, you know? I mean, what do you do, stick it in a Ziploc for the rest of your life or something? Hmmm.

Here's a great interview with him, by the way.

Quiz: The Hills or Shakespeare? This was actually a lot more difficult than you might think.

Judd Apatow's take on if the writers strike continues: a re-enactment of Justin Bobby and Audrina on The Hills, by James Franco and Mila Kunis. GENIUS. Seriously, go watch. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] proggrrl for that one.

Pretty wacky news about Six Apart selling LJ, eh? Not sure how to feel about that yet.

And in case I have too much shit going on tomorrow to remember: HAPPY BIRTHDAY [livejournal.com profile] skywaterblue! My online life would not be the same without you.

OK, off to see if I can get some sleep despite my worry and panic.
