Wow, this was a really tough one for me. I had a few contenders, and then it really came down to two, and I was wrestling with them for a while, but ultimately I had to give the nod to....
The West Wing.
Anyone who's been on LJ for any length of time knows of my love for this show, so I won't belabor the point....it came down to this and X-Files but XF didn't seem fair considering I didn't even watch the final season. ;) TWW certainly had its rocky points, but I stuck with it till the end and was generally satisfied with the resolution. And for a good chunk of its run, it wasn't just one of my favorite shows, it was one of the best TV shows ever.
