tv is so cruel to me
NOT COOL, LINDELOF. NOT COOL.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! THEY KILLED MR. EKO! YOU BASTARDS! I am VERY DISPLEASED with this chain of events -- possibly mostly because I didn't see any point in his death. Seriously. Someone shall have to explain the point of his death to me beyond some sort of internal journey of redemption, which as far as I'm concerned is not a good enough reason to KILL MR. EKO. Dammit. I am very displeased, and very sad. Waaaaah.
I don't even have much else to say because I am SO SAD. Except that the preview for next week pissed me off, too. Oh, Lost. You are still arguably my favorite show on TV right now but why do you keep doing these things to me? Whimper.
Okay, I will just mention that Jack has nice arms and I totally just think Juliet wants to make a power grab because unlike Jack I do not trust anyone. Biting into that cheeseburger without at least, I don't know, smelling it or something. Sheesh.
Are we trading two bland new characters for Mr. Eko? Again, NOT COOL. Although the toilet flushing made me laugh and laugh. And the guy on the monitor was creepee.
Still, overall, I am very frowny face at Lost right now. Sniffle.
The Nine was very very good tonight though and Josh Malina was on it, eeeeeeeeee. Made me happy. Although I was disconcerted that he wasn't wearing glasses.

William Styron died. I haven't read any of his books but I have a vivid memory of flipping through my mom's copy of Sophie's Choice when I was too young to be reading it. *g*
This is interesting: the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (which claims to be a non-partisan group) evaluated every Senator "based on a given legislator's voting history on issues that affect US Troops, Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans and military families." 86 members scored a D or an F. You can find your Senators' ratings here. They're not ranked from good grades to bad, however, so someone else did it for them. Go see who supports the troops.
