I guess I did like it when he got all excited at the letters of recommendation idea because that really was a cute "AH-HA!" moment, but yeah, like you said, that was until he actually went through with it.

Right. Like, at the very beginning of the episode, the first phone call to Jordan was really cute, when he realized she wasn't coming to the party and was going out of town. That was classic adorable Brad. But then it went to the bad place. Sigh.
