I guess it's not clear that L/K is not the only reason I watch the show, not by a long shot. I was lukewarm on the ship until a few weeks ago, so it's usually not a factor. I just thought the writing last night pretty much sucked ass, in every storyline, and didn't particularly serve any of the characters well. (As I said: my problem isn't what they did to Lee/Kara, per se, it's they did it so badly.) The Roslin/Adama scene at the end was nice (although I spent most of the ep being annoyed by their set-in-stone preconceived notions about Gaius, not that I can entirely blame them for being that way), but it wasn't enough to salvage the rest of the episode for me.
