I use a Canon S3 (http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canons3is/) and its telephoto lens. It's a point-and-shoot that wants to be a DSLR, and I looooove it. I'm no photographer, so I like that it can think for me, but it also gives me the flexibility to play around with things if I want to. Also, it didn't set me back as much as an actual SLR, which is great. *g*
I found that the DragonCon lighting was so crappy that it made picture-taking really difficult, and my only decent shots came when I was using the sports setting. I deleted a TON of superblurry shots.
would it be okay to use some of your Jamie shots for iconage?
Feel free! If there's any other particular moment you're looking for (or if you have any more questions about the camera)--email me (mailto:emilymeredith658@yahoo.com). :) I have a bunch more that dianora2 didn't post that I put up flocked on flickr, and can send them to you.

what kind of camera and lens you were using?
