idol quickie

Got home late from Macbeth and watched AI real quick. *Loved* Cook's first performance, must get the download. But I completely agreed with Simon about his last performance, in terms of, do you want to win American Idol or not? But boy, was Archuleta's original song ass or what? Of course, it's exactly the kind of song the AI cheeseheads love, so there you go. Ick. And his first song was NOT "flawless." Please.

But in conclusion: much as I love Cook, there's no way Archuleta doesn't win this thing.

(Every time I see David Archuleta, I am reminded of Lisa Simpson and her Non-Sexually Threatening Boys Magazine. Hee.)

Okay, off to bed. Painful medical stuff going on tomorrow, so good thoughts would be appreciated.

I swear Cook had an epiphany, like "Oh DUDE, if I win, I'll have to sing shit like this? How do I go about not making an ass of myself while handing this crown of poop off to someone else?" I think his walking around during the first song, and choice of third song, were totally calculated to take some shine off, seriously this is my conspiracy theory and I am sticking to it.
