tired for no good reason

Saw WALL-E with [livejournal.com profile] girlunravelled last night. Enjoyed it immensely, though I think I would have enjoyed it more if they hadn't shown all the best parts at the Comic Con panel in April. Seriously, it was like I'd already seen almost half the movie. Oy. But, still very good, except for the guy in our row who fell asleep early on and snored through the rest of the film. Charming.

I thought this was an enjoyable episode, though nothing groundbreaking. It did have one line that made me laugh and laugh and laugh: "That dog is kind of an a-hole." Something about his delivery made me laugh so hard. Hilarious. And I love Fearless Guster! Aww. Cybill was great, though I confess to being extremely confused at the end since I had always assumed that she left them, so it was bizarre to me that Shawn was claiming his father was the one who left. Were we supposed to have that assumption or what? Very confusing. I think I had that issue of Dynamite, by the way. And I love Christopher McDonald, he is always excellent. Overall good but I hope next week is more of a traditional police case.

Burn Notice was an improvement over last week, I thought. Loved Sam and was glad they went there with the counseling session with his mom.

I had so much to do today and accomplished very little, other than having a fabulous dinner out. I suppose that's something. Since I had so much to do, I naturally spent some time uploading a couple Robotech stories to Fanfiction.net. Within minutes I had my first review:
HO, I LOVE IT, TOO SHORT, BUT IT´S GREAT. WEN YOU MAKE A LONG STORY BASED ON THIS ONE?, I MEAN, LISA´S FELLINGS, AND ALL THAT STUFF, I HOPE SOON. OK, GREAT JOB, THANX FOR THE MOMENT, AND SEE YA´

Yep, there's no gratification quite like that, is there?

Time for Links!

Greatest Gillian interview ever. And nice and short to boot.

And here's a very short clip from the movie if you haven't seen it. Mulder? Still a jackass.

Trailer for the 24 movie, which apparently can also be known as Jack Bauer Saves Africa. And Gil Bellows is in it! And Robert Carlyle! CRAZY.

Rock of Love 3 is happening! With Bret! On the tour bus! I am so excited.

Funny BSG icons here. Something for everyone.

Masseuses fight over who gets to do Ewan's head. Can't blame them for that.

Hanging out with the cast of Mad Men.

Jib Jab's new campaign video.

There's this new website called Totally Looks Like in which people submit photos of celebrities and the various animals and things they look like. For example, Flavor Flav bears an uncanny resemblance to a Gremlin. Hee.

And I'm embedding this one because it's too ridiculously awesome: Rick Trooper!
