another day off would be great, but i'll cope
Hey all. Had a great, relaxing, fun weekend down in Virgina at ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
chanel19 and flamingcarrot's abode, celebrating chanel19's birthday with divanoir, bbennett, and harpinred, and getting to squeeze in a brunch with em_meredith and nnaylime. Much food was consumed, dogs were petted to an excessive degree, a souvenir mug was obtained from the hibachi restaurant we went to (I'll have to post a pic), and an awesome movie was seen: Fanboys, which I now need to own immediately. Awesome movie, though it will only be truly awesome to you if you are a fairly fervent Star Wars fan.
Anyway, today ischanel19's actual birthday, so Happy Birthday! Glad I was able to celebrate it with you.
Carrie Fisher defends Michael Jackson. Interesting. Here are some amazing pics of the Neverland ranch btw.
Also, apparently someone is making a Viewmaster movie. Um. Huh?
Oh, andnnaylime informs me that Michael Hogan is going to Dragon Con, paid for by a group of fans. Yay! That almost makes up a little for Jamie & James not being there.
Discovered today that a LOT of my elementary school classmates are friends with each other on Facebook. I find this vaguely odd for some reason. But now I'm trying to decide if I want to friend a couple people myself, the ones I was good friends with. (Even though I'm sure it will only lead to my discovering that I am the only member of my elementary school class who is still single, sigh.) Most hilarious discovery: a profile picture of the class slut (who was also a good friend of mine), posing in a dowdy stereotypical "mom" type outfit with her husband and two kids. LOL.
OK, hope to catch up more this week, fingers crossed. *blows dramatic kisses to the internet*
