it's called male intimacy. it's not just for gays anymore.
Norm McDonald was on My Name Is Earl tonight and he was funneh. (He is the source of the subject line quote, yes.)
Survivor tonight was a reminder of why I keep watching this show; every once in a while, they pull out something like that. My favorite part of any episode is the strategizing that goes on in between the immunity challenge and tribal council, and tonight's episode had some of the greatest strategizing scenes ever. Wow. I loved how it kept flipping from one minute to the next and you had no idea whose side Dreamz and Stacy were really on and how both groups of people decided to change their votes at the last minute, etc. And then Alex cockily handing over the immunity idol at tribal and PSYCH! The dawning reactions as the votes were read were PRICELESS. Wow. WOW. That was frickin' AWESOME. I really enjoyed the hell out of that. I love it when something that is unscripted can deliver such a satisfying story.
Now they need to get rid of Stacy and Dreamz ASAP b/c they still can't be trusted. It will be amusing to see Dreamz try to explain himself to the other "horsemen" (gag) next week.
Also thought it was interesting they didn't show any fallout from Stacy basically finding out during the reward challenge that everybody hates her. LOL.
Supernatural was fun tonight, although the pace dragged a bit. So many in-jokes, and McG! Ha ha ha ha ha. Oh, McG. You stupid-ass-name-schlockmeister, you. And Dean actually working was hilarious. And Gary Cole! Love.
Finally watched Gilmore Girls. It was okay, but way too much Logan for me. I liked the ending, natch. I also think it's really, really, really, really wrong that Zach is on the show more than Lane. Was Keiko Agena actually pregnant or something?
I just need to make a quick comment about today's General Hospital, I just feel the need to declare my white-hot and abiding love for Tracy Quartermaine. LOVE. Tracy and Luke are by far the most interesting couple on the show right now, IMO. (Which does not, however, mean I want to see them kiss. Ha.) Also, how stupid was Patrick? Very, very stupid. Sigh.
Oh, Jamie:
Out.com: Is Gaeta gay?
Jamie: Almost definitely!
Hee.
On a more sobering note, this is insanity in a sentence: 70 percent of Iraqis lack regular access to clean water, and 80 percent lack toilets that do not contaminate water sources, according to the report.
Canada's health system is both cheaper AND better than the U.S.'s. Gee, what a shock. ...pause, pause, pause...NOT. /Borat
Tomorrow I have a Very Important Lunch and I am crazy nervous about it, so good thoughts would be appreciated seeing as how I'm so anxious about the whole thing that I feel ill. Doesn't help that I've been in the middle of some insanely stressful stuff at work the past couple of days -- I need a break, dammit. Sigh.
