Back from the beach. Sigh. Had a great time with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
oeilade, divanoir, bbennett, chanel19, flamingcarrot, harpinred, intopolitics and the LJ-less A. & T. Lots of eating, playing in the pool and lying around on the beach. There was a creek in back of our house that was populated with turtles, so there was also turtle watching and feeding, which was entertaining. The weather mostly held; there was just one day that it drizzled all day, but we had a good time nonetheless, filling it with shopping (Coach outlet!) and eating out and walking on the wet and windy beach. (For those of you who go to OBX, I highly recommend Kill Devil's Frozen Custard if you haven't had it before.) The rest of the week it was more like this:
I'm pretty depressed to not be there right now. Although it was nice to come home and snuggle with my kitty. :) And now, off to work tomorrow. Ugh.
P.S. One thing I really took away from this vacation is how many people in this country own hideously huge gas-guzzling motor vehicles. Literally every other vehicle down there was a behemoth. So gross. Enjoy filling up that tank as Mother Nature weeps!
P.P.S. Mad Men is so good that I kind of can't believe it sometimes.

Allegra is caught up - she Netflixed all of season 1 and TIVOd season 2 through tonight and she is hooked. Another convert!
