questions, i have questions

Questions on a Lazy Sunday (even though I am actually doing work today, bah):

1. This is a really stupid one: where are my iTunes non-music files (i.e. TV shows, podcasts) located on my computer? I can't find the files to delete the ones I don't want anymore.

2. Does anyone have recommendations for a recordable DVD player?

3. I'm eligible to get a new free phone from Verizon, and I want something with a QWERTY keyboard because I suck at texting. I think I'm going to get the LG enV2. Anyone have any experience with this phone/opinions? My only other real QWERTY option is a Blackberry which seems kind of silly since I don't want to pay for an email plan.

Thanks, internets!

They're in the same iTunes Music folder in MyMusic that has your songs. It's in with the folders for each artist, but the folder's called "TV Shows" (on mine, it's between Trio Medieaval and Unknown Artist). That should have all of 'em.

1. I don't know, exactly, but if you do a "Get Info" on them like you would if you wanted to edit their song name/artist name/album name information, and click the Summary tab, it'll say on the bottom of the screen (under 'Where').

If you have a PC, they should be in My Music > Itunes > Itunes Music, and then there are separate folders for Podcasts and TV Shows. That's where mine are, at least.

That's where they were! Thanks!

I had the first env, it was pretty good.

It's like a blackberry lite -- I can check my email and hop online and look up directions easily enough but my primary uses are calls and texting, and it works great for that.

That's exactly the answer I was looking for, thank you.

I have the enV and I like it a lot. Don't know how it compares to the newer model.

Cool. From what I've read the new model is supposed to be even better.

It's time for my free Verizon phone too and I'm also considering the enV. I tested it out at the store and it seems good to me. :) I'm not set on a Qwerty keypad though (I only send a few texts a month) so I'm also considering the the LG Venus for free or the Samsung Sway for $20

My TV shows are located in my iTunes folder, in a folder named TV Shows. C:\My Computer\powerof3\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\TV Shows\

My podcasts are on my external drive for some reason, though. E:\Music\Podcasts\

No experience with that phone myself, but I have a friend that has it and she loves it.

2. I have a Sony DVD/VCR recorder (for both, it records DVDs and records on videotape). It is two years old and is not longer in production. Shame, since it is my favorite piece of electronics in the apartment after the HighDef TV and the iMac.

Sony has this (http://www.amazon.com/Sony-RDR-VX535-Recorder-Player-Upscaling/dp/B001BVY1A2/ref=pd_bbs_sr_3?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1228079985&sr=8-3), which has all the bells and whistles mine has.

3. Mention what phone you get. You and I have the same phone deal with Verizon and I qualified for a phone last month but haven't gotten around to it.

Take Care
Mara

I have the enV2. I just got it about 2 months back, and I have no complaints about it. I love the keyboard. So much texting! I got it on the recommendation of a friend, who's had hers a few months longer, and she's still happy with hers.

Do you mean a stand-alone recordable DVD player or a new one for your computer?

[identity profile] dianora2.livejournal.com 2008-12-01 01:24 am (UTC)(link)
Stand-alone, so I can record from the TV.

Oh, okay, I don't know from those.
