In this video interview with Jeffrey Donovan, Ausiello says that the Michael/Fiona relationship is a "huge draw" for fans and Donovan says viewers are "in love" with that relationship. To which I say: really? Most people I know aren't fans of the relationship at all, so I find that slightly puzzling. Any Michael/Fiona fans out there?

Just read about the Metro crash in DC, so horrible. I'm going to assume all my peeps are all right since I've heard from most of you, and the alternative is unacceptable anyway.

So Patrick Stewart is going to be at Dragon Con. How crazy is that? I'm not even a TNG fan and I'm excited.

Merlin gets better. Or at least I thought so. It's never a great show by any means, but it's fun for what it is. If that makes sense. Colin Morgan is adorable and Bradley James is hot, so there's that at least. :)

They're probably going the Cinderella route with Gwen/Guinevere on Merlin. I've always hated Guinevere, and I can sort of tolerate her on the show, so I guess that's an upgrade for me, then?

I think I've made it pretty clear Fiona and Michael together do nothing for me. Feelings, shmeelings, let's go shoot somebody now. My mother, though, is shipping them hard. I have no idea how we can possibly be related.

That's how I feel too, but for me it's WEIRD to feel that way about a show. Heh. To be honest, I like Fiona okay, it's Gabrielle Anwar who makes the pairing unpalatable for me.

Yeah, I think Gabrielle Anwar was not the best choice for the role by leaps and bounds. I mean, I'm glad they didn't cast some twenty-four-year-old for it, but she's just...not good. Leaving aside how distracting her brittleness is for me personally, she's still not very good. It's really a shame because the show is great fun otherwise, and if they're going to push the relationship (and it certainly sounds like they are,) I doubt I will be sticking with the show for the long haul. I can think of at least half a dozen shows I'd like to try right now and don't have time for.

Emphatically NO. Bleah. Sure, they're fun and I'm okay with some pining, but too much of them being all... just, no.
