So the Docs I had been drooling over way back near the beginning of the year are on sale at Amazon.

Exhibit A:


Shorter boots, $85.

Exhibit B:


Taller boots, $55. (Yes, cheaper. From two different vendors, so....yeah.)

So which ones do I get, dear f-list? I can wear the taller ones with a skirt, but would probably wear the shorter ones more often b/c they would be more comfortable under jeans. But the taller ones are cheaper. What say you?

I'd get the taller pair, contact the vendor after the arrive and see if they have the shorter pair. They'd make a lovely Christmas gift from a loved one.

You don't wear jeans that are too tight so I think you could still wear the tall ones under them. And then you can wear with them skirts. And they are much cheaper. So I clickybuttoned taller.

My gut says you'll wear the shorter pair more often, and shoes that awesome should be worn constantly.

I actually just really like the look of the taller ones, and didn't choose because of the price. Plus, while you may not wear them under jeans AS MUCH, you still would, so double duty. :)

I voted shorter because you'll get to wear them more...but the tall ones are really awesome. This is a hard decision! I'm going to have to keep Miss A away from the pink ones though... my 7 yr old has way too expensive taste. At least they won't fit her yet.

I voted taller. I love a boot I can wear with a skirt. Also, these don't look so tall that they'd be too uncomfortable under jeans. Sometimes an ankle boot with jeans bugs me because the cuff gets caught on the top of the book when I go from sitting to standing. I don't get that problem from a mid-calf boot.

As awesome as the tall ones are, the shorter one are more practical in that you would wear them more often.
