the most wonderful time of the year
This week has been dubbed "Lee Week" by ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
dionusia (check out her LJ for some great stuff), and since I like to think that for me, every week is Lee Week, I had to make sure to commemorate this auspicious occasion. I will actually be posting a Lee-centric guest post to ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
btlstr_hiatusca in a few days, but in the meantime, I thought I would put together a picspam celebrating my favorite attribute of Lee Adama's.
That's right:
ARMS.
An icon of this photograph is the reason I started watching Battlestar Galactica. I AM NOT MAKING THAT UP.
Look, promo shot arms! How hilarious is it that they were billing these guys as a triangle?
I have to say that pilot tanks arms are probably my favorite arms. Something about the way they're offset by the different colors of fabric....or maybe it's just the booze.
Extra points for pilot tanks arms in bondage.
What? Don't take those off! You'll completely ruin the effect! Thanks a lot, TIGH.
See, Zarek totally gets it, because when he takes Lee prisoner in "Bastille Day" he makes him take his jacket off before tying him up. Smart man.
Must have sucked to have those arms turned against him later, though.
Pilot tanks boxing arms are also a delightful flavor. This shot gets bonus points for featuring another favorite of mine: VEINS. Guh.

One of the most iconned shots in BSG fandom, and with good reason.
Mmm, very nice. I wonder why he was working out? Did something happen before that to make the working out necessary? If so, I must have blocked it out completely from my memory.
His arms are so impressive that they act as flotation devices.
Ah, shirtless making out. I love that notch on the top of his shoulder. I'd love to... sorry, about to overshare again.

Um. Yeah. YEAH. Fucking perfection. I'll be in my bunk.
Now, this is all not to say that the arms don't also look very nice when covered by a thin layer of material. Exhibit A, ladies and gentlemen. Look at how the fabric gets trapped beneath the muscle... *twitch*
Even hiding out in the ladies room can't diminish the hotness.
Okay, you can't see the arms all that well here, but it's the Red Shirt of Unspeakable Hotness, so who's complaining? Not me, baby!
So there you have it, a Lee Adama arms retrospective. I just have one request, Ron Moore: may we please, please, get to see those arms just one more time before the series is gone forever? Please?
