Feb. 5th, 2007

I went to pick up my laundry after work tonight and it wasn't ready. I dropped it off on Saturday, which meant they should have had it for me on Sunday evening if I'd wanted it, but I told the guy no worries, Monday is fine. Monday at 7. I show up at 7:15 -- making a detour in single-digit windchill temps -- and it's in the WASHING MACHINE. WTF. And I got SO ANGRY, which is why I'm going to have a heart attack before I'm 40. Seriously, I was enraged. It's just...you know, all they do all day? Is do laundry. They can't use one more washing machine than they were using to make sure my stuff gets done when they said it would be? Aaaaargh.

I know, I know. These are the daily stupid things that I need to just get the hell over. And it's mostly just because I stayed at work later than I had to and made a detour in freezing weather, for nothing. (Plus I had a pretty bad day at work, so I just kind of snapped.)

Anyhoo. On to a more pleasant topic, Monday night television. Let's face it, I mostly just want to squee about Prison Break, which was so awesome tonight I can't even stand it. I really thought that was one of their best episodes, if nothing else in terms of pure fan service. LOL. Sara Tancredi is the bomb. )

24 was both predictable and surprising, and I am not surprised by that. *g* Jack Bauer's too manly for angst, he feels mangst. )

Studio 60 was enjoyable, although I was surprised that the moment where I got most excited was when Jack finally appeared on screen. Heh. Not to mention my favorite scene. )

How crazy is this? Jeffrey Dahmer may have killed Adam Walsh. Eeeeek.

OMG.
When Harry Met Sally as a horror film. Genius.

ETA: I think today was [livejournal.com profile] juliedarling's birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULIE!
