farpoint, day one

This is pretty long, so I think I'm going to do a post for each day. Especially since I don't even know how many people are actually going to read this. *g*

If you're just interested in reading about my meeting him on Saturday/seeing the photo with him, scroll on down a bit. (I met him again on Sunday, so that will be in the second post.)
