Desperate Housewives was delightful and delicious.

Did everyone see the blurb from the XF novelization that's making the rounds? ( Basic plot spoilers within. )

Not much else, I'm basically just exhausted. Has not been a good couple days for my family; my mom lost a friend of hers who had been battling MS (they actually met through a church program, my mom was her volunteer caretaker, but they developed a nice friendship) and now I just found out my sister-in-law's uncle died. So, that pretty much sucks all the way around.

I think I've mostly caught up on my f-list now; I think I missed a bunch of birthdays, so my apologies for that. I know I missed erehwesle's. And kradical's, but I told him in person, so that doesn't count. *g* Apologies to anyone else I've missed.

As for today, a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to oeilade, my partner in crime and, when it comes to getting a discount on car rentals, my life partner as well.

Also caught up on my news browsing and came across this excellent Frank Rich editorial about the election. Recommended reading.

Will get my con report done tomorrow; my pictures actually came out less crappy than usual, so I spent tonight downloading and cleaning them up. In any case you don't need to read my writeup of the BSG panel because proggrrl has kindly posted video of the whole thing.
