So I couldn't figure out why no one at the caps communities had made any caps of Raiders of the Lost Ark, I mean, come on, iconic movie, and it would be so much easier if someone's already done the work for me, right, but no... and then I realized that I had to search under Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. *facepalm* Yeah. They're out there. Serves me right for being a snobby fan. So now I am going through pretty caps and will see where I go from there.

I've been physically miserable all day today, but did have a bright spot: a package from [livejournal.com profile] gnomi and [livejournal.com profile] mabfan. Inside was my very own Adipose!

See it behind the cut! )

It was knitted by [livejournal.com profile] gnomi and now it is all mine! Isn't it adorable? Gave me a big smile. (It's from Doctor Who, for those of you wondering what the hell you're looking at.) Thanks again, guys!

I don't think I posted this review of Fringe, but it got me very excited, particularly for the Joshua Jackson component. "As for Joshua Jackson, he seems as though he hasn't ever left television. He is such a natural as the gifted and misunderstood Peter, so adept at running from his problems, that it almost seems written for him." *flails* I do not understand why the commercials are not pimping him more, they clearly don't realize what a draw he is.

Did you know that under current (stripped) OSHA laws, an employer who breaks the laws can be charged with a crime only if a worker dies? Not if he's grievously injured? That's what I learned today. Charming.

In brighter news, Happy Birthday [livejournal.com profile] austin360!! And Happy Release Day to [livejournal.com profile] claudiagray!
