Watched last night's ANTM and was pleased with the elimination. That girl was a beeyotch.

Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton celebrated my birthday yesterday by holding a half hour webcast on women's issues. It was enjoyable to just watch these two people who sincerely care so passionately about women's rights speaking so knowledgably about the issues at hand, and their affection for each other was obvious, too, which was cute. Remember, Joe Biden wrote the Violence Against Women Act. (John McCain voted against it.) You can watch the webcast here.

Not thrilled by the news that Eoin Colfer is writing a sequel to Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Meh.

Off to DC for the weekend tomorrow to see Carrie Fisher's one-woman show and hang at chanel19 and flamingcarrot's house (IHOP, woot!). May or may not be checking in. Have a good weekend!
