I just haven't felt much posting mojo lately for some reason, and now I have a headache. AND I see on my post below that my Mr. Nice Gaius icon disappeared again! DAMMIT.

OK, so, they just showed a preview of Whitney Port's upcoming Hills spinoff, The City, and one of her "friends" is "socialite" Olivia Palermo!!! WTF? There are probably about five of you on my flist who know what I'm talking about, but trust me, it's a WTF moment. Although considering how desperate Olivia is for fame, maybe not so much.

All old school General Hospital fans should seek out last week's episode of Night Shift on YouTube, stat. It was awesome. Robert, Anna, Robin, Luke, Mac, Sean and Tiffany all in the same room. SOAP OPERA BLISS. It's too bad they won't bring the Night Shift writer over to the mothership, since he's actually, you know, a fan of the show.

Enjoyed Gossip Girl tonight -- Chuck, please never change. Thx.

Prison Break was okay. Dug the ending.

Loved seeing Phil's dad on TAR last night.

I caught up on The Girls Next Door and got really sad whenever Hef and Holly were lovey dovey. Sniffle. Not sure if I buy the story that Hef is sterile or not.

I also caught up on Tim Gunn's Guide to Style and like this new season SO much better than the first. Much improved in every way, especially in the co-host area.

This Daily Show sketch about undecided voters is funny, but not nearly as funny as the fact that I know the guy sitting in the front far left seat. As do some of you.

Will Ferrell is bringing his Dubya impersonation to Broadway.

Obama family's cutest moments. Cute overload alert!

Obama supporters have their tires slashed at a rally. Classy. Better than hanging Obama in effigy, I suppose. I hate people. Although in an academic sense, not in a slash their tires or hang them in effigy sense. Because, you know, I wasn't raised by a crack whore.

Moving on: [livejournal.com profile] airings made a beautiful terraspace BSG-related art piece that is really worth checking out. You can see it here.

My cable interactive guide is unable to load any data for VH1. Every hour on VH1 says "Data Not Available." I'm sure you can see the problem here considering how much VH1 I watch. Not sure what to do about that.

Oh, it's even an issue because my new dual tuner TiVo doesn't work with the Time Warner cable, so I had to go get the TW DVR instead. TiVo is SO MUCH BETTER, you guys. I am woeful and bereft at not being able to use it. But it was keep using my single tuner TiVo or use the TW DVR which is cheaper and lets me record two things at once, so it wasn't that hard a decision. But I'm still v. v. sad. GOODBYE WISHLISTS! *sniffle* This new cable box also keeps making this clicking noise that's driving me crazy. And did I mention one of my radiators leaks? And there's a strange smell in my bathroom emanating from the heating pipe? Yeah, it's good times here at Casa Dia.

(Actually it is mostly good, I just wish I didn't have these headaches to go along with...well, my headache.)

In brighter news, I finally bought a new iPod Nano! Woo hoo! It's the blue one, and it is beautiful. ([livejournal.com profile] sharinlilbit and I are now iPod twins). So that makes me happy.

This David Duchovny stuff is crazy, no? And now Gillian just named her new kid Felix, when she already has a child named Oscar? What the hell is wrong with her? This is not the first time I have asked that question.

Happy Birthday to those whose special days I missed -- I know [livejournal.com profile] snacktime and [livejournal.com profile] phdelicious are included in that number.

OK, off to bed.
