Sorry. I've been spending time puttering around the apartment instead of posting. My current fandom is my new apartment, what can I say. And I really have to get to bed now, aargh.

But I wanted to rec this amazing Gaius Baltar vid by bop_radar. It's set to "Clint Eastwood," and is SUBLIME. A must-watch. Oh, Gaius, I heart you.

And one of the more bizarrely hilarious articles I've seen in a while: the New York Times talks about how pirate re-enacters feel about Pirates of the Caribbean upstarts. No, really.

Speaking of the Caribbean...oeilade and I are apparently going to Belize in January. I got a travel alert about a crazy airfare sale and, well, the upshot is we got round trip tickets to Belize for $133 each. I mean, that's what it cost me to fly to Washington D.C. last month. I say "apparently" because we're both still kind of in shock that we're doing this, considering Belize has never been a place either one of us has ever mentioned wanting to visit. I mean, I Wikipedia'd the damn country before booking the tickets, because I know next to nothing about it (although I'm learning fast!). But that fare was just so ridiculous, and I've been wanting to go somewhere beachy where I could try snorkeling, and they have that, and it will be warm there in January, and....yeah. We're going to Belize. WTF? (We kind of just keep looking at each other saying, "So....we're going to Belize!?!") If anyone has been there and has any tips, please share! We're looking at staying on Ambergris Caye, probably.

I want to talk about the Mad Men finale but I'm not even sure what I want to say. Probably mostly just how sad I am that that was the season finale. Sniffle.
