not looking forward to tomorrow though
Mar. 2nd, 2009 11:59 pmMy boss suggested -- his idea not mine! -- that I work from home today, and so I did. The beauty of working at home is that I can take a nap, and still get more work done than if I were in the office. Good grief. So I'm actually feeling good about what I got done and only have to freak out about something that is due tomorrow at noon, that I WAS planning on doing today but can only be done in the office and, well, I'm going to be a bit of a whirling dervish in the morning. But it will get done.
You know what was awesome tonight? 24. Holy crap that was good. And next week's looks amazing. I'm so happy this season is better than last season, at least so far. Can Renee get her own spinoff show? Because I would totally watch that.
Chuck was also delightful and delicious, although I have to be honest, I was kind of rooting for the hot Brit by the end. Heh.
NYT gave the Guys and Dolls starring Oliver Platt and Lauren Graham a bad review. But Paul Krugman just said in his blog that HE liked it, so there. LOL. I heart him.
Oh, and
oeilade emailed me the very important news that Real Chance of Love 2 is currently casting in New York! Gee, I can't believe it didn't work out with Real and Corn Fed! Hey, Bex, now's your chance! Hee hee hee.
I was also informed of some bad news for New Yorkers: the Around the Clock diner is closed down. :( I spent many a cheap meal there during college. Woe.
My walk to the subway is going to suuuuuuuuck tomorrow. Almost half a mile on foot over lots of ice. GREAT. Ah well, it's my penance for working in my pajamas today.
Ha ha ha this mood theme is awesome. Oh show, I wish I wasn't so upset with you right now.
