Got home late tonight -- saw "Waiting for Godot" on Broadway with Nathan Lane, Bill Irwin, John Goodman, and John Glover, and it was quite excellent, but I confess the play was longer than I thought it would be.

Did quickly watch tonight's Idol, though, and -- ugh. Simon's expression in my icon sums it up. I am SO TIRED of those certain movie songs, you know the ones I mean, the ones by Aerosmith and Bryan Adams. ENOUGH. Also, I missed part of Lil's sassback thanks to the DVR switching over at the 9:00 mark. Also also, I think "The Rose" is one of the most beautiful songs ever written and I do not like what she did to it, sorry.

Still love Allison even though I hated her song choice. At this point I have no idea who's going home, though.

By the way have you seen this New York Times article about how OH NOES Adam might be gay and is America ready for a gay idol? First of all, there are really people who don't realize Adam is gay? People aside from 12 year old girls or 70 year old ladies? Because he seems pretty out to me. Secondly, since when has sexual orientation been an issue where Idol is concerned? Talk about trying to make an issue out of nothing, ugh.

OK, time for bed.

ETA: OMGLOL Fat Lee. Woe.

I thought Lost was mostly "eh" except for that one part, and the ending. You know which part I'm talking about. )

Had kind of a crappy day, got some crappy news, and I'm feeling a little emo. Also think I'm getting a cold, blech. So I think I should just go to bed. I know I owe a lot of you comments / messages / emails so I apologize for that. Just feeling like I'm running ragged.

Oh wait, I will share my favorite teabagging mockery before I go. Even if it does involve Lawrence O'Donnell, who's kind of a douche. David Shuster is hilarious though.

Oh, and I don't think I mentioned this yesterday, but I finally got my computer!!!! YAY. [livejournal.com profile] bexatious has graciously consented to come over this weekend and help me hook up my network and stuff, since I'm pretty much an idiot when it comes to these things. But I can tell you that it LOOKS gorgeous, hee.
