can it be summer now?
May. 11th, 2009 11:55 pmWell, it should surprise absolutely no one that just as my f-list is exploding with Spock and Zachary Quinto lust, I am developing a crush on Chris Pine. HA. Really, it was the SNL appearance that did it. Well that and that black shirt he wears in the movie.
I was pleasantly surprised with the TAR finale. It was just so refreshing to watch a finale in which all three teams actually get along and like each other. Those two teams helping each other at the end was kind of an extraordinary thing. And the group hug they all shared at the finish line was sweet. It was just nice not to have to listen to teams snipe at each other for the entire finale. (Just at their partners, ha.) The team I was rooting for won, but really I would have been okay with any of those teams winning because they were all strong racers. Overall, good season this time around.
24 was totes sad tonight. I am irked that the preview for next week's finale shows no kissing. ;) Also, I find it distracting when theoretically random people in a scene are recognizable actors, because you know that means they are going to be much more important than the scene initially indicates. Also, Chloe and Janice together is just TOO MUCH. Make it stop, please.
I'm not gonna lie, Gossip Girl made me a little misty-eyed at the end tonight. I was skeptical about the Lily-centered episode, but I think they pulled it off. I'm also starting to think that if I could look like anyone on the planet, it would be Leighton Meester.
Have you heard about this invention where you can basically carry a bubble of wireless internet connection around with you? That needs to be cheap and widely available now, please.
Hey, this is really gross.
I'm pretty amused that my father emailed a bunch of us today to link us to FMyLife. LOL.
Need to upload new pics of my nephew at some point. I also need to start going to bed earlier so I can get up earlier. Yeah, we'll see how that goes. :P Oh well. This piece in the Times about the expectations we place on ourselves made me feel a little better. Maybe it will make some of you feel a little better too.
