girlunravelled, bexatious and intopolitics to see "9 to 5" on Broadway, and we had a great time. I thought the musical was overall entertaining, but wasn't particularly impressed by the songs or the staging. Allison Janney, however, was absolutely wonderful, and a pure delight to watch. She has so much presence that she eclipses everyone else on stage with her. Really enjoyed getting to see her. Afterward we had a little bit of trouble finding the stage door, but did make it there in time for Allison herself. She signed my program and I got a picture with her. She is very nice and very pretty. :) ( Here's the pic. )
On to TV:
Yay Chuck is coming back for 13 episodes yay yay yay yay!!!!!!! YAY.
Survivor: still think this group was some of the dumbest contestants ever. Was perfectly fine with the final two and the winner though. Plus they are cute together.
Haven't watched the Desperate Housewives finale yet, will at some point this week.
Apparently V is definitely being picked up as a "special event." Sounds like the number of episodes is still being decided. I forgot that one of the leads is Elizabeth Mitchell. Take from that what you will.
Article about how Ben Silverman was hired to make hits for NBC and hasn't. Ha.
Finally I have to share this SNL sketch from last night. I can't remember the last time I laughed this hard at an SNL sketch. I was literally crying from laughing. A must-watch.
Man, I liked Tom Hanks so much better when he was funny.
In other news, I have discovered Bejeweled, so you may never hear from me again. Bad enough my mother introduced me to Insaniquarium. Sigh.
