Had a delightful dinner with [livejournal.com profile] yahtzee63 tonight, and I had another lovely cocktail! See?

After dinner we decided to walk over to the Ben & Jerry's near Times Square for ice cream. My friends, the Ben & Jerry's was CLOSED DOWN. I almost cried. That B&J's has been there FOREVER and, and, and, how does ice cream go out of business?????? IT IS SO WRONG. Goddammit. I am disconsolate.

Also today I discovered some soap actors on Twitter, which means I am doomed. I also found out that Scott Clifton (ex-Dillon, GH) is now on One Life to Live! Which means I have to record the damn show so I can watch his scenes. It also means he is living in NYC. *g* (Shaddup, he's only 12 years younger than me. *cough*) And his Twitter is so awesome. It's called Clifton's Notes, heeeeee. I'm going to have to actually follow my damn Twitter now. Do I have the only Twitter feed in existence in which you can find Markos Moulitsas directly below Becky Buckwild? I think the odds are good.

Anyway. That was exciting. AND, you may remember my mentioning that I was finally enjoying a soap couple and the actress was leaving the show? Well, she's extended her contract a bit. Yay! So I had all kinds of nice soap news today, which is rare.

Oh, and Jaime Ray Newman (ex-Kristina, GH) is one of the leads in the new fall show Eastwick. Good for her.

In other celebrity news, I think I walked past Nina Garcia on the street today. She wasn't dressed as nicely as I'd have thought she would be.

Oooh, which reminds me that last weekend I walked past Kristin Davis, who was wearing no makeup, but still looked good. And then later at the street fair we saw Chris March from Runway. I'm on a streak, woot.

V upfront trailer:

Eh. I hate that they call them "the V's," WTF. And I think Morena Baccarin is hopelessly miscast. Well, we'll see. Apparently the creators claim to have four seasons mapped out. Apparently they're cocky.

When I went to iTunes this afternoon the top songs amused me. Note the rankings:

1. Don't Stop Believin' -- Glee
4. Mad World -- Adam
6. Heartless -- Kris
8. Ain't No Sunshine -- Kris
11. Permanent -- David Cook
15. Change is Gonna Come -- Adam
18. No Boundaries -- Kris

Is that the worst a coronation song has ever performed? LOL. Kara, you suck. Also I am amused that the Glee song is still outperforming the Idol stuff. Hee.

Happy Birthday [livejournal.com profile] kelbelle! Hope you had a wonderful day.

I HAVE OFF TOMORROW. YAY. I am so freaking excited about sleeping in I can't even tell you.
