Was going to write up a big LJ post with lots of links tonight...and then didn't.

Did discover a new show: Expedition Africa on the History Channel. Produced by Mark Burnett, follows a navigator, a survivalist, a wildlife expert, and a journalist as they try to recreate H.M. Stanley's trek to find Dr. Livingstone (as in "Dr. Livingstone, I presume?"). They have a team of porters with them, and most awesomely of all, a couple of actual Maasai warriors to guard their camp at night. Actual survival with Mark Burnett production values. So far good stuff.

Also watched the Hills finale but had to FF some of the Heidi/Spencer wedding stuff because I am only human. ETA: According to Seacrest's Twitter, Heidi & Spencer tried to quit "I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here" because the caliber of celebs wasn't up to their level. BRB LOLing forever.

And I didn't miss Pushing Daisies that much but greatly enjoyed last night's episode. I like Olive so much better than Chuck, is that wrong?

Anyway, had a great weekend and will try to post tomorrow night instead.

You know how they say that you’re your worst critic? Well that might be true in many cases, but not mine. See, as hard as I would be on myself for gaining so much weight lately, I don’t know that I would’ve compared myself to Jabba the Hutt like a lot of people on line did.

I watched a little bit of I'm a Celebrity, Get Me out of Here. Heidi and Spencer quit twice within the first hour. But my favorite part was Heidi, Spencer, and Patti Blagojevich holding hands, heads bowed, as Heidi prayed for the truth to save Rod and Patti. OMG good times. Meanwhile Janice lies on a hammock and just vomits out the occasional outburst. It was kind of entertaining, but probably not enough for me to watch it for real.

Beautiful picspam of San Francisco vs. New York. Not really versus, though, more an appreciation of both beautiful cities.

The new Kevin Smith movie is apparently filming around the corner from my house tomorrow. Adam Brody is in this movie. It is too bad I will be at work. Sigh.

I think I need this new Threadless tee. Gorgeous.

Last night I was flipping channels and ABC was showing the pilot of Lost. Still one of the greatest pilots ever. Anyway, I watched the opening sequence, and noticed two very cool things. ( One is a spoiler for this past season, so I will cut. )

On another Lost note, Jeff Jensen comes up with one of the greatest theories ever here, re: Jack's grandfather. Awesome.

On a more serious note, I'm sure most of you can imagine what I think of the assassination of Dr. Tiller. This editorial by Mary Mapes is brutal, but it also sums up my feelings pretty well.
