I was going to make a regular-length post, but I have a headache so am going to bed shortly.

I am both pleased and nervous that Katee Sackhoff is going to be on 24 next season. Pleased because I enjoy watching her, and 24 is a show I watch anyway; and nervous because no one better interfere with my girl Renee. ;)

I'm so behind that I haven't even watched any of the BSG deleted scenes that have been posted on YouTube. How sad is that? Or maybe I'm just subconsciously avoiding them. Or not so subconsciously.

I'm actually digging some of the porn battle prompts, hmmm.

Speaking of which, there has been some talk around ye olde f-list about the lack of Lee/Kara fic etc since the finale, and I'm definitely guilty of that. I confess that I'm still at a point where it hurts to think about them, which isn't exactly inspiring me to do much. I am hoping to get past it though, and write fic that completely ignores canon or takes place early on in the series. ;) But yeah, am definitely feeling the malaise, for sure. Damn you, RDM!

In other news, surprising news, "I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here" is crack on a spoon. Seriously. Where else can you see Janice Dickinson sob to Sanjaya about her fears while Sanjaya lovingly strokes her wrinkly face? Or Spencer Pratt saying that Heidi's vomiting is evil demons coming out of her and a sign from God? Or Patti Blagojevich going on and on about how her husband is a good man and the truth will come out while everyone else nods uncomfortably? It is all so amazing, OMG.

Also, there was this article in the NYT today, about how Williamsburg is having a housing crisis because the parentally-subsidized hipsters aren't being subsidized so much anymore. BRB LOLING FOREVER. The NYT URL even uses the term "trustafarians," hee. The comments are priceless too. As is the Gawker page, because of course half the comment pool consists of the very people the article is talking about, so there's all this defensive posturing going on. It is all gloriously hilarious.

Richard Schiff editorial about SAG on HuffPo.

I'm kind of freaking out about the two journalists being sentenced in North Korea. Did you know one of them is Lisa Ling's sister? I hope they send Gore or Richardson over there to straighten things out.

OK, bedtime.
