Hey everybody. Just thought I would check in and say hi!
I spent last weekend in San Francisco; I was there on business, but I had a lot of free time for sightseeing, which was great.![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
snacktime took me to Muir Woods, which was awesome (and where we of course made many Ewok jokes), and I got to meet LJers pennilesspoet17 and jasminelily for the first time (separately, not together *g*). Both lovely and entertaining ladies. I enjoyed San Francisco but damn, I am just not made for those hills! I don't know how people do it, I really don't.
And then I came back and had a work week from hell, with 2 or 3 meetings every day (that is a lot for me) and a ton of work to do. Still have a lot to do, but am happy to only have 3 or 4 meetings this coming week, which is much more civilized.
TV has generally been good, I think; I'm loving Lost, and happily devour Doc Jensen's recaps on the EW site every Wednesday morning (I *highly* recommend them if you're not already reading them). Project Runway has been good, definitely better than last season so far, and I'm excited for episode two of TAR tonight. I'm so psyched for tomorrow night's 24 that it's just embarrassing. The show has not been at its best so far this season but I'm enjoying the Jack/Renee stuff so much that I don't really care. (In fact, I have kind of started making icons, which has been nice! Although it's been so long that I kind of have to re-learn everything.)
One show that is of course pissing me off already is Survivor. I know not many of you out there watch it, but if you want to come in and bitch about James and Rupert and other asshats, PLEASE DO.
In other news, I think that my cleaning lady stole my laundry quarters, which is CRAZY, and I need to figure out how to handle it. It's a service, so I don't have to talk to her, but I find it so hard to believe she would do this that I feel I need to give her an out/benefit of the doubt. Like maybe she took them planning on putting them in a better spot and then forgot. Or she brought someone with her and they took the quarters. Etc. I'm just so aggravated that I even have to deal with this! I mean how crazy is that? It wasn't even that much money -- maybe 5 bucks. Ugh. (I also hate saying "my cleaning lady" as it makes me sound rich or something, when the truth is I can't really afford it but do it anyway, because I hate cleaning just that much, LOL.) Anyway. Weird problem to have, I know.
I guess that's it for now....feel free to let me know in comments what TV you are enjoying these days -- other than the Olympics. :D Any favorites on American Idol yet? I haven't gotten to attached to anyone yet, but overall I think the girls are stronger than the boys this year. We'll see.
