And I haven't started packing yet. The car gets here at 7 AM. Great.
I was setting up my TiVo to record some stuff while I'm gone and when I turned the TV back on the new Bravo show Workout was on. So I watched a few minutes, and one of the trainers is totally Rebecca from TAR, of Adam and Rebecca. OMG. I love fame whores.
Anyway, on to Project Runway. That was a bit of a shocker, I thought. It wasn't so much a shocker in terms of how the show played out leading up to who got eliminated, but shocking in that if you had told me before the episode started that Malan was going to be eliminated, I would have been very surprised. I was kind of sorry to see him go, actually; he was becoming oddly endearing. Although I would bet any amount of money that the story about his mother was made up. It was just TOO perfect. "I gave my mummy my sketches and she threw them on the ground and told me I'd never amount to anything!" Someone's watched Cinderella too many times. Anyway. Can't believe Vincent is still there and that they actually liked that dress. WTF. I loved Kayne and Robert's dress, but -- I thought she wanted to look tall? That gown is not going to make her look tall. As a short woman, the first thing I thought when I saw that dress was that it was going to make her look stumpy. I don't know. I could be wrong. I really liked the jewel detailing. I think Kayne and Robert are my OTP. Liked Uli's also, just wish it had been a bit more structured up top.
I'm also starting to really dig Nina Garcia more than I have previously. She's a bitch, but sometimes I like that. She just cuts right to the heart of the matter, which I appreciate.
Was it Jeffrey, is that his name, who said "feminazi?" He's on my shit list now.
Everyone else can carry on. Only really negative about the episode: not enough Tim! Alas.
I watched BSG "The Captain's Hand" tonight and LAURA ROSLIN IS DEAD TO ME. DEAD. She (and Bill Adama) can bite me. Seriously. And Ron Moore too, obviously. UGH. (My Apollo love, however, remains strong, despite his questionable sexual decisions. He is so the Jack Shepard of BSG, so it's not a surprise that he's my favorite.)
Haagen-Dazs just announced a new flavor and I AM IN LOVE. I want it NOW.
OK, I should really go pack now. I'm bringing my laptop with me so should actually be able to read and post this weekend. Woo hoo!
