That book signing sounds awesome, the sort of thing that you expect might be fun but then turns out to be SO MUCH BETTER. I'm glad you went to say hi to Janel (even if I would've been one of the people there who didn't recognize her at all *g*).
That AI show was seriously bizarre. That "Staying Alive" video had me oddly mesmerized while the Celine/Elvis duet had me sad about what's possible with modern technology. Kelly had one of my favorite performances of the night - that was a Patty Griffin song she sang and I hope people go find her version (on the new album "Children Running Through") because it's super good.
