Absolutely brilliant and hilarious recap - thanks! Thanks to Em for the pictures. This helped explain a number of things I'd seen other people refer to but not expand on - almost as good as actually being there!!
One of the reasons I'm such a fan of Jamie's - apart from the fact he's a damn good actor - is the fact he seems so down to earth and decent and not at all taken in by the whole Hollywood crap. Add on the whole thing were he always comes across as completely smitten about the 4 women in his life, the sense of humour (as a fellow dry humoured Brit that's one thing I particularly appreciate), the IQ and the fact that interviews he does are always so much more interesting than the usual fare because he actually thinks! before he speaks and normally has something intelligent to say and is it any wonder he makes a girl sigh?? Seen as he gets all that lot right I'm not bothered about the sometimes dodgy dress sense - makes him more fun I think. But yeah he and Bradley on Maher would be amazing - someone should make that happen *grins*
As a Lee fan I'm sad to hear about the lack of Lee so far in S4 and so damn annoyed at the inexplicable inability of the writers to figure out what to do with the character! I guess because I was a fan of Jamie's first before being a fan of the show, it makes me annoyed to think of how they are effectively wasting the man's talent - when they actually do give him stuff to do he hits it out of the park but it's frustrating that those opportunities seem to come to him so little!
I think I'm also feeling sad that this is one of those times when I'm depressed about being right - as soon as they took the character out of the military at the back end of last season AND put him on the outs with Roslin I thought - Hang On! You could see as plain as day that this was going to sideline the character and make him peripheral as who the hell is he meant to interact with.
Gah! *is angry and depressed about the whole thing*
