I...swallowed a bug today. A very tiny bug, but...ew. Oh, life.

I was sad about who got eliminated on Beauty and the Geek. Sad eliminations are the only down side to that show.

I am seriously loving Reaper. It's a show that actually makes me laugh out loud at people getting hit in the head when I am not always that person. Really, I could just watch Sock talk for an hour. I need a crossover between these guys and Earl and Randy Hickey something fierce.

I watched Carpoolers because I found out Bruce McCulloch wrote/created it. It's definitely too odd for America. I await its cancellation. Awesome cameo by Scott Thompson, though.

And I managed to watch The Hills, which is where I got my subject line. OMG Elodie wins at life. WINS. Who skips out on work for their one-year anniversary with their sort-of fiance? Heidi, that's who. And Spencer was such a DOUCHE, OMG. He's just so manipulative and detestable. Ugh. Meanwhile, I still don't understand what Lauren sees in Brody and every week I just wish I was watching Stephen Coletti instead. I admit it. And poor Audrina. Your boyfriend is an ass and nobody likes him, maybe that should tell you something. I mean, look at Spencer. Also, what was with Lo sticking her tongue down Frankie's throat? Hilarious. I love when they're all drunk and acting like idiots. Ah, to be young again. ;) And the coming attractions were fantastic, I cannot WAIT. Yay.

Tim Gunn dishes at Baltimore Book Festival. There are many, many things I love about Tim Gunn, but I suspect his willingness to dish may be why I love him most.

Anita Hill published an editorial about Clarence Thomas in today's NYT. By the way, I highly, highly recommend Strange Justice: The Selling of Clarence Thomas. Great book.

Happy Birthday [livejournal.com profile] em_meredith! I'm working on something I thought would be a drabble but is turning into a very short ficlet, so perhaps I'll post it separately. Of course, you're totally not awake right now so I don't even know why I'm telling you that. And I had also wanted to make some icons from your Jamie pics, but didn't have time. Hopefully this weekend. :)

I was amused enough by Carpoolers and actually (don't tell anyone!) by Caveman too. They were both better than I thought they'd be, which isn't saying a lot, but it's still something. I enjoyed the rivalry with the other carpoolers (fancy carpool!) and the awkward carpool song choices.

There were definitely some really funny moments. The "All Out of Love" bit in the beginning was hilarious, as was the son in his underwear, especially when he was wearing a fanny pack to go to the fridge, OMG. I was dying. The carpooler rivalry was SO Kids in the Hall, LOL.

OMG Elodie wins at life. WINS.

I KNOW, RIGHT? Play of the year. And seriously, someone should tell Heidi that she really can celebrate her anniversary on pretty much any day of the week without the sky falling down. I don't even know exactly what they're celebrating their one year "anniversary" of; this time last year, wasn't she feeding him the fake pregnancy story? Is this their one year fake pregnancy anniversary? I think "Fake Pregnancy" is the Ginormous Fake Amethyst Ring Anniversary, so that would make sense.

And then there was the "no I didn't feel his glands" quip which was soooo West Wing. :)

At least the bug didn't fly up your nose. I think that's worse. Clarence Thomas. *shakes head*

Clarence Thomas still makes me want to vomit. Apparently, it's not just a phase.

Tim Gunn is love. How fun would it be to see him dish in person?!

I mean, I understand that she's young and in love, barf, but to think skipping work for your relationship anniversary is just....pathetic. Although supposedly she doesn't actually do any real work there, so I could see why she would think skipping out is okay.

I'm fortunate enough that I HAVE seen him dish in person, and it is divine. :)
