When David whatshisface started talking about being born in 1990, I wanted to cry a little.
Michael and David Cook were my favorites, by far. I'm so glad to see Michael turn in a strong performance, because I love him, but he hasn't been great lately. And I HATE Kristy Lee Cook, and I hate that song, but you're right about it being hella smart.
For me, both Ramiele and Carly suffered from comparison to people who had performed their songs in the past. Ramiele's performance of "Alone" was nowhere near as awesome as Carrie Underwood's, and even though I hear she's a freaking trainwreck, I've always liked Jessica Sierra's "Total Eclipse of the Heart".
