90210: This wasn't great, but there was something about it I loved. Wait, that "something" is not difficult to quantify: Kelly Taylor; Brenda Walsh; Jessica Walter essentially playing Lucille Bluth (FTW); and a hot English teacher. Plus, Joe E. Tata to mock! And Kelly's mom is in it next week! And the brother and sister have a connecting bathroom just like Brenda and Brandon did! There was a cameo by Andrea's daughter! And Kelly's baby had better be Dylan's! I hope that's who she was talking to on the phone, even if Luke Perry would never come back in a million years. Anyway, the rest of it was pretty crappy, but I liked all the stuff with the adults, which is probably a horrifying commentary on my age. I'll keep watching, at least for now.

Still haven't watched Gossip Girl yet, grrrr. This weekend for sure. Wasn't able to watch Runway tonight either (damn you, ANTM!) but will do so tomorrow night. (After I see a couple apartments -- hope springs eternal.)

ANTM: I skipped most of the first hour. The second hour was pretty good, but there are so many bigoted little brats this season. Thank god one of them was eliminated, at least. I predict my usual love/hate relationship with this show for yet another season. I'm such a masochist.

Mad Men: Not the greatest episode, but the ending with Peggy was pretty devastating, I thought. Still can't figure Pete/Peggy out to save my life. And I liked Betty's bikini.

Bradley Whitford leaves Boeing Boeing next week. Sniffle. I guess that's that.

Walked home down a different street tonight and it looks like filming is still going on -- presumably for Fringe, but I'm not sure. I felt going out of my way to investigate would become a bit too much like stalking so just continued home. ;)

Sanrio is releasing a Hello Kitty MMORPG. And it's free! I am seriously considering signing up. You know, because I have so much free time. But it's SO CUTE!

Tigh/Roslin 2008 makes me laugh and laugh. Favorite quote so far: Saul Tigh minces no words when it comes to energy usage: "Gods dammit, cut back or you won't have any energy at all! The Cylons will have it all!" Am also fond of the article "Tigh doesn't know how many homes he owns? Fleet shocked that people own homes."

I love this Christian Bale/Kermit the Frog picspam that has been recommended by a bunch of my f-listers. Genius.

Two vid recs!

Doctor Who vid: Handlebars. Such a perfect song for the Doctor, and the editing is excellent. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] skywaterblue for the rec.

X-Files vid: Hell of a Place. Possibly the best XF vid I've seen (and wasn't someone on my f-list just asking for recs?). Really drives home how Mulder and Scully are each other's salvation, and encompasses the epicness of their story. Fantastic, fantastic vid. Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] counteragent for reccing it.

Hmmm, all my other links are political ones. I may just do a separate post for easy skippage for those who aren't interested. Suffice it to say that I think Sarah Palin is the gift that keeps on giving. I haven't been this tickled in ages.

Happy Belated Birthday to [livejournal.com profile] yew! Sorry for flaking on that.

I thought so before, but that first hour confirmed it: Tyra Banks has lost her damn mind.

Except for Erin Silver, I only like the adults on 90210. So, don't feel old just yet.

You and I are totally together on Mad Men thoughts. I embrace you, Dia.

I feel the exact same way about 90210.

I completely agree about 90210. I don't think it's showing your age. I think it's showing, oh, maybe taste.

Still can't figure Pete/Peggy out to save my life.

Seriously one of my favourite relationships on TV. It's so confusing and fucked up. I truly have no idea how they feel about each other. I don't think they do either.

I thought 90210 was okay. Not great, but not terrible, and I did like parts of it. I was underwhelmed by the GG pilot, and now I adore it (YOU MUST WATCH THE PREMIERE ALREADY), so I'm giving West Bev a chance.
