i don't even know what to think anymore

I'm not sure how I feel about this episode. I think I'm getting so caught up in the end being near and how are they possibly going to do everything they need to do and I'm emotionally invested enough in these people that I feel like I can't even tell if an episode is good anymore or not. I mean, I thought this was mostly good, but mostly for selfish reasons, to wit:
A Gaius/Caprica Six scene. FINALLY. And it broke my heart. Oh my, I didn't even realize how much I shipped them until that scene. Sniffle.
Gaius being science-y. And shaving. And looking really hot. And having a scene with Kara!
Tahmoh pulling it out and being awesome in the Helo/Adama scene. What I didn't like so much was Adama's "I lost a son and you've lost a daughter," as if they're on the playground and he's trying to make them be even. STFU.
Lee yelling his head off at the fleet captains. Lots of Leefaces. And my favorite line of the episode, "GAIUS BALTAR??!?!?!?!?!" LOLOLOL. Genius. (P.S. Lee/Sonja would be hot. Just sayin'.)
Tub!Sam saying, "There's a hole in the bucket dear Liza dear Liza." Awesome.
And, of course, an actual Lee/Kara moment. Hey, remember them? Let me back up a bit, though -- OMG, Gaius, WTF were you doing telling the entire ship about Kara to further your cult status, that was NOT COOL, and I'm with the many other people who thought it was weird that Kara slapped Baltar instead of just punching him. Maybe Lee is the only guy she can still punch after she sleeps with him? Heh. ANYWAY, I loved how they ended the scene with the shot of Lee looking at Gaius, and oh, how I wanted a scene where Lee throws Gaius up against the wall
And then, he goes to see Kara -- somehow knowing where she will be -- and says the words she needs to hear, that he doesn't care, it doesn't matter who/what she is. "You're here and I'm here and that's all that matters." OMG THE WRITERS REMEMBERED THE SHIP. Knock me over with a feather. And he touches her face and clearly wants to do more but can't because her husband is in a tub and he knows he needs to give her her space. And Kara looks happy and at peace, which, you know, she only does anymore when she's with Lee, so maybe she should do something about that. Ahem.
Oooh, now with visual aids! LOOK HOW MUCH HE LOVES HER.

So, I loved that, of course, and yet, I'm already feeling like it's too little too late, and still steeling myself to be completely dicked over in the end. I dunno.
Meanwhile, Sam is in the tub and totally freaky and yikes. Very interesting that she was willing to kill him, and I genuinely jumped when he grabbed her arm. And he said the same line about her being the harbinger of death, hmmmm.
And Laura kept a doobie ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. That was awesome. Michael Taylor giving himself a callback, nice.
Stuff I didn't like:
Still way too much old man crying. WTF. Enough already.
Hera crying. SNIFFLE.
Cavil touching Hera. Creepee.
Kara on the toilet. Ewwwww. And that the eBay auction is apparently featuring the star maps she was studying while on said toilet. LOL.
The fact that Tigh and Ellen are hanging out in his quarters and it's not clear what's happening with Caprica. Um, did Saul just kick her to the curb or what?
Caprica wounding Gaius' soul.
The hitting me over the head part with the Six sacrificing herself out the airlock.
No Chief. :(
"You're losing both of your women" <--- made me throw up a little in my mouth.
The fact that we didn't learn very much tonight, did we. Three hours left and I have no idea where it's going or if I'm going to like any of it. We shall see.
I probably have more to say but I'm sleepy and should go to bed.
