I stayed home sick with a migraine today. Blech. What really sucks about that is it's a day home sick, but without being able to do much on the computer or watch TV because that just makes my head hurt worse. I slept a lot of the day. Feeling better than I was, now it's more just like a normal headache instead of someone trying to break out of my skull from the inside. :P Hopefully by tomorrow I'll be seriously improved.
I killed a gigantic bee INSIDE my apartment today. WTF? How the hell did that thing get in here? It was very unnerving! Made a loud buzzing noise. *shudder*
In other news, I hate the new LJ search function. I just want to find an American Idol comm to get an icon of my girl Allison, but it's not coming up immediately in the trained monkeys search and I lost my patience. Grrrr.
Speaking of AI... .
I do not care for country music at all, so I am right there with Simon whenever they have country weeks. Ick. I thought Anoop was very good, and Allison, and Scott. Everyone else I was pretty meh on, although I thought the only BAD performance was Adam. OMGWTF. I loved how the judges were trying every word they could think of to describe it except "gay." IT WAS VERY GAY. JUST SAY IT. Heeeeeee. Well, I'm sure he has enough of a fan base to get him through anyway.
Reaper was much fun tonight, and I think I might have spotted my college roommate as an extra in one scene, which was weird. If it wasn't her, it was someone who looked a LOT like her. And she was an aspiring actress back then, so I suppose it's possible. Huh.
Under 35? Hurray for the meltdown! Hrm. I'm 36 which is hopefully close enough? *g*
One benefit of being home today: I got a knock on the door from UPS finally following up on my lost package that got lost in DECEMBER. I had to sign something basically saying that from now on if I get something delivered UPS, it has to get a signature, which, if the option is them leaving it in front of my front door to get stolen, that is FINE BY ME. Then Karmaloop emailed me asking if I wanted a refund or store credit. UM, A REFUND, PLEASE, SINCE I AM NEVER SHOPPING WITH YOU JACKASSES AGAIN. GOD.
Ugh, I see that it's going to be warm again tomorrow, then drop again. Which just means more headaches. I've had quite enough, Mother Nature, thanks.
