comic con: chuck panel

dianora2This was hands-down my favorite panel of the Con, just for pure joy. You guys, they started off with a JEFFSTER performance. FTW.
I didn't realize until I was putting everything together that I only took one vid during the Chuck panel. I think it was because I was just enjoying myself so much that I forgot to film anything. :)
The panel actually kicked off with a funny video starring Zach, Josh Schwartz, and Chris Fedak. They're all eating Subway sandwiches and are depressed about the show being canceled. Then Josh gets a call from the network saying they've been picked up. Zach is totally psyched and tells them he's going to start taking martial arts classes right away to get in shape. He leaves the office and Josh and Chris completely freak out. "What are we going to do now?" "I don't know, I was positive we wouldn't get another season!" LOL. It was obviously much cuter and funnier than I'm describing.
Then Jeffster came out and gave an awesome performance to Fat Bottomed Girls. Heeeee. It's not on the official video b/c of clearances but you can see my video if you download it here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/69sgmm
(Can't put on YouTube for similar reasons, I already tried.) It's well worth seeing for when the cast comes out at the end and Zach gets up on the table and...it's great.
Overall everyone just seemed so thrilled to be there and everyone was so incredibly appreciative of the fans. They know that we're the reason they have another season and they're totally humble about it. Zachary was insanely adorable, Adam Baldwin was as usual the kind of Comic Con (and Zach as usual was (comedically) jealous about it) and even the audience Q&A was fun. (Zach said he would love to have an action figure and Adam one-upped him by pointing out that HE would then have TWO action figures, LOL.) (Adam on the con: "I'm big here.") Not too much about next season, just that the Buy More will be involved, Chuck is, as you expected, not exactly going to be in "control" of his powers, and there was something about Chuck and Sarah starting off in an odd emotional place that had me intrigued. Oh, and Awesome is going to be more involved with Chuck's capers. :D

This is in response to one of the writers saying they always imagined having Ellie and
Casey make eye contact across the courtyard...very meaningful eye contact.... hee hee.
This was them looking at someone asking a question, LOL.
Very blurry but my only real shot of Big Mike (who was very funny, btw). He said his favorite cast member was the woman who played Morgan's mother, LOLOL.
There was seriously just pure joy in that room, guys. Fans thrilled that the show is coming back, cast thrilled that so many people care so much -- I don't think I stopped grinning the entire time I was in the room. Great, great panel. If you have any inclination to watch the whole thing on line, I would definitely recommend it. :)
