oi with the breeding already
Oct. 3rd, 2006 11:20 pmKitty update: her bloodwork came back normal. That's good, right? I think, I hope? Now I need to decide whether to drag her in for x-rays. She does seem to be acting a bit more like herself tonight than she has since this started, which I'm hoping is a good sign. I don't know. I guess I'll give it a couple of days and see how things go. We both need a couple days' break, that's for sure. Aaaargh, so frustrating.
Law & Order: CI was filming in my neighborhood today. Didn't see any celebs, but I did walk past Vincent D'Onofrio and Kathryn Erbe's trailers. At least, I think I did -- they were labeled GOREN and EAMES and I assume that's who they are. *g*
The Studio 60 ratings make me want to cry, but I'm not entirely surprised, either.Weren't they supposed to be folding DVR ratings in with the Nielsens? That never happened, eh? Sigh. I love that everyone knows the Nielsens are a corrupt and ineffectual system (my brother's friend used to work for them and oh, did he concur) and yet that's still what everyone blithely goes by. You know, like the New York Times bestseller list. ;P
Speaking of S60, I can't believe I forgot to mention Lucy Davis in my post last night. LUCY DAVIS ON STUDIO 60. That is so awesome I can't even stand it. I hope she's going to be recurring, assuming episodes continue to air. :(
( Gilmore Girls )
This week on Jeopardy is little kid week and I can't even watch it. It freaks me out.
I don't have much to say about the news because, you know, fish in a barrel. I love how they're turning on each other, in particular. I also love how certain factions are trying to make this into a gay thing. Um, this isn't a gay thing, it's a PROTECTING A SEXUAL PREDATOR thing. Asswipes.
(Meanwhile, 17 soldiers have died in Iraq so far this week.)
So there's this movie in production called The Tourist, starring Ewan McGregor, Hugh Jackman, and Michelle Williams, and it's an erotic adventure that takes place partially in Manhattan sex clubs, and it is apparently SO sexually explicit that Fox has decided not to distribute it domestically. Which I don't understand, because to me it sounds like THE GREATEST MOVIE EVER MADE.
OK, I'm going to try to go to bed early tonight since I'm utterly exhausted.
