did this day really happen?
Nov. 9th, 2006 11:32 pmThe Democrats control Congress AND Studio 60 is officially renewed for a full season? Holy crap. I'm almost thankful that I'm incredibly stressed about other things and have a bad headache because it reminds me that I'm not dreaming. Wow. 22-episode DVD set instead of 13, whee! *g*
Bush responded to the new spirit of bipartisanship by submitting John Bolton for UN Ambassador. Again. *giggle* Dude, your own party doesn't want that guy, accept it already.
I finally watched last week's BSG and my main reaction was....bzuh? So I trooped over to
yahtzee63's LJ since BSG and Lost are the only shows we agree on, and she said much of it reminded her of a bad experimental college play, and so then I was appeased that it wasn't just ME. At least Lee's arms are back. Rowr.
Jane Kaczmarek was on Celebrity Jeopardy tonight but they did not show Bradley in the audience, so I feel relieved that
leftofcenternyc and I did not miss an opportunity to see him by watching a different episode taping. Also, the charity she was playing for was Clothes Off Our Back, which makes sense, but also kind of struck me as cheating. Oh, and apparently Doug Savant pwns, which did not surprise me in the slightest.
New York Magazine has put a do-it-yourself version of their Approval Matrix online. Delightful.
RIP Ed Bradley. I know it's wrong that one of my first thoughts was that Harrison Ford must be sad, but there you have it.
