did not have a great day, but oh well
Jan. 8th, 2008 11:40 pmAs someone who's still not 100% behind any one candidate, I am grateful for tonight's primary results, as it means no coronation and the candidates will still have to pay attention to the other states in the Union. Work for my vote, baby! I'm worth it.
And as a reminder why this election is important: U.S. leads industrialized countries in deaths from treatable disease. Alarming and depressing.
But really, I would be remiss if I didn't report the other breaking news of the evening, Taylor Hicks dropped by his record label. Oh, Taylor.
I finally watched the BSG promo and I'm glad I did because it was so much less shippy than I thought it would be. (That makes sense in my head, I swear.) Once again, the main thing I have taken away from it is James Callis shaved and cut his hair, woooooo hooooooo!
Good news: I'm writing. Bad news: It's Robotech, which five of you will read. It's also a piece of crap so no one may ever see it but me, but it's making me happy. And this fandom is often a gateway drug for me that gets me back in writing mode, period, so it's really a good thing.
By the way, it got into the high 60s today. WTF.
