scaring myself with the reality tv
Apr. 7th, 2008 11:41 pmThese are words that I never thought would come out of my keyboard, but...Paradise Hotel 2 made me sad tonight! OMG I am seriously losing it.
Speaking of "reality"....I am SO OVER having two episodes of The Hills in one night! It is too much vapidity for one evening, okay? I like small doses of the stupid. Classic Spencer line tonight: "No, you're making yourself cry, thinking about what you did." He truly is the douchiest douche who ever douched.
Speaking of douches, I am really sad that Rock of Love is ending soon. I hope that Bret isn't able to make it work with whomever he picks so that we can have a season three. I'm not proud.
And Celebrity Fit Club is making me see what Chachi saw in Joanie. She is a firecracker! Bam! Dunkleman? Still a Dunkleman. I wonder if he sits at home on Tuesday nights and watches Idol and cries and cries.
And I finally checked out I Know My Kid's a Star and am digging the crazy, so will probably keep watching that for a bit.
girlunravelled watched "Unfinished Business" tonight. Mwahahahaha. I think I've created a monster, she's blowing through BSG faster than I've ever seen anyone do so! At this rate she's going to be able to watch Friday's episode along with the rest of us. Dayum. And, another L/K shipper to add to the fold. I am so proud. *sniffle*
For more intellectual discussion about BSG than I am capable of providing, I direct you to
dinousia's post pondering Greek mythology and etymology and how it may or may not relate to Kara's role this season.
Star Trek opening credits mashups. The Star Trek/A-Team one is the best, but the DS9/BSG one is very cool and will probably make
skywaterblue explode with squee.
oeilade linked me to this wild YouTube video: it's the only known film footage of Anne Frank. She is seen watching a wedding procession from her window. Will give you chills.
Project Runway is moving to Lifetime. Huh. Well, maybe Lifetime has a better website, at least....
I saw a post by someone I don't know, complaining and worrying that Sarah Wayne Callies' return to Prison Break will result in plot holes. UM, NO REALLY. PLOT HOLES. ON PRISON BREAK. STOP THE PRESSES. LOLOLOLOL. THAT'S your concern? That something on that show might not MAKE SENSE? Are we watching the same show? Because the one I watch has plot holes you could drive a truck through every single week. The reason I (used to) love that show is because it OWNS that, and makes it part of its charm. It's kind of brilliant, really. But...seriously. SRSLY. PLOT HOLES. *goes back to giggling*
Ahem. Anyway. Going to the doctor tomorrow for my latest mystery medical malady. Have been very uncomfortable the past couple weeks and am not a happy camper. I don't think he's going to be able to help me, but will at least refer me to a specialist who hopefully can. I am so, so sick of this....literally. Didn't help that the (new, I think) receptionist at my doctor's gave me a really hard time about making an appointment today, trying to diagnose me over the phone. Excuse me, can I see your medical degree, MISS RECEPTIONIST? UGH. So, yeah, I'm a bit crankier than usual, even. Sigh.
