Jul. 15th, 2008 11:36 pmI survived the All-Stars parade. Mainly by going downtown to run errands for most of it. How ironic that I could have watched the entire thing from my office window, yet could not possibly have been less interested. Oh well! Luckily the crowd dispersed quickly after it was over so all in all it could have been worse, noise-wise.
Longtime readers of this LJ may know that I occasionally have work periods where I'm so stressed I feel like I'm about to have a nervous breakdown. This is one of those times. Will be this way for approximately the next three weeks. Ugh. I yelled my first "I quit!" today; that means more are sure to follow.

nicole_anell. The first is Michael Bay's script for The Dark Knight, and it is genius.
The second is a Doctor Who vid rec, which she shared even though she is not a DW fan. It's a Doctor/Rose vid, and it's set to "Come What May" from Moulin Rouge. So let's take a moment to reflect on what a fandom explosion THAT particular combination was for me. ZOMG. And it's a very well done vid and I recommend it. You can find it here. By the way, remember how I made noises about maybe wanting to write a Who post-ep? Well, I discovered that somebody already did it for me. Seriously, this is the fic I was going to write. There's even a paragraph in there that's eerily similar to something I'd scribbled down. It's kind of weird, actually. So clearly I can't write this myself, now, which kind of depresses me, but I don't see how I could have done it better thanariastar did, so there you go. I don't know.

And did anyone watch the Rescue Me minisode? Was that a sucker punch or what?

Oh, and I wanted to wish belated Happy Birthdays toscarlettina and shipperchick! Sorry I missed them. I was going to go back and edit my post last night but then LJ went down. :P
Finally, this is about right. Partly because I have a terrible memory for plot developments.
Why are they using a Doggett/Reyes picture when they're part of the reason I only got an 86%?
