mostly teevee as per usual
Apr. 7th, 2009 11:31 pmI hope the Chuck creators have an end game in mind just in terms of Chuck himself, where he winds up. Especially since it's kind of on the bubble and I'm wondered about there being another season, etc.
On a related note, the Reaper creators just signed a development deal with Fox, which makes it look like Reaper is not long for this world. Woe. I love that show. :(
24 was a little boring last night. Not enough Jack! Though I did of course love the Jack/Renee scene. ;)
American Idol: Adam was clearly the best of the night, but the only contestant I truly love at this point is Allison (who was also awesome). Also, kiddie picture of Simon = funniest thing EVER.
( Quick spoilery note about Fringe )
( Rescue Me )
And yes, I watched The Hills, even though I kind of hate myself for it at this point. What I really hated myself for though was that I genuinely got emotional during the big Lauren/Heidi scene! That was saved somewhat by Lauren's yelling at Stephanie later to never do that again, LOL. And at first I thought Stephanie had some work done, but now I think maybe not. She looks different somehow. I think she lost some weight.
Some links:
Chia Obama pulled from shelves. *boggle*
Keep your cat in the house! Amen.
Jorge Garcia goes to a Journey concert. I love him.
I also love Charles Blow, columnist for the New York Times. He wrote a column this weekend that got a lot of attention in which he worried about incendiary rhetoric on the right and it possibly leading to instances such as the cop killing in Pittsburgh. Naturally, he got a lot of angry emails. So what does he do? Publishes them to make the point that people are crazy. LOL. Point to Charles.
Dover is finally making dead soldiers' homecomings public. (Note: it is up to the family to decide whether they want to allow it to be public or not. As it should be.) It's actually an interesting article describing the training the soldiers go through to participate in the ceremony, etc.
OK, off to make a few more icons before bed.
