Got home late from oeilade's birthday party this evening, but did watch AI real quick.

I do love how they always take care to show Simon's reactions as Paula is talking. That's half the entertainment for me right there. BTW there was an article in the NYT about Simon today. Mostly about how rich he is. ;) And he's saying that he's only going to do one more season of AI, but he's said that before.

There was a really cool op-ed in the NYT today about possibly finding Cleopatra's tomb and what that will mean for the legend we've built around her, with a bit of meditating on the issue of women with power. Great read. The author is working on a book about Cleopatra, which may be something to keep an eye out for.

And here's the latest Gathering Storm parody, this one featuring people like George Takei, Alicia Silverstone, Lance Bass, Sarah Chalke, and others. Pretty funny. The Colbert one is still the best, though.

And apparently Hillary wiped the floor with Congressional Republicans today, for you Hillary fans out there.

In other news, I finally watched this week's Gossip Girl and thought the seder scene was hilarious and brilliant. Also, I think I kind of like Blair/Nate, which surprises me. Huh.
