Picture me breathing a HUGE SIGH OF RELIEF. OMG. I thought Allison was going to go home and I was going to have to bitchslap the judges for saving Matt last week. I'm kind of surprised Matt was safe but I guess his fanbase went nuts and voted like crazy this week. Final three is clearly going to be Adam, Kris and Danny though. It's just a matter of time for Allison and Matt. Oh well.

Also, I thought the disco medley was kind of embarrassing. Also also, David Archuleta is a sweetie.

There was a really cool op-ed in the NYT today about possibly finding Cleopatra's tomb and what that will mean for the legend we've built around her, with a bit of meditating on the issue of women with power. Great read. The author is working on a book about Cleopatra, which may be something to keep an eye out for.

And here's the latest Gathering Storm parody, this one featuring people like George Takei, Alicia Silverstone, Lance Bass, Sarah Chalke, and others. Pretty funny. The Colbert one is still the best, though.

And apparently Hillary wiped the floor with Congressional Republicans today, for you Hillary fans out there.

In other news, I finally watched this week's Gossip Girl and thought the seder scene was hilarious and brilliant. Also, I think I kind of like Blair/Nate, which surprises me. Huh.

I'm hoping for an Idol swerve this season and that Adam will get eliminated, mostly for the lolz. Doubt it'll happen, but I hold out hope!
