i was just here. which way did i go?

Oh my god you guys, I know I am behind on everything and totally suck. (Am also too reliant on Twitter, I admit it.) Will try to post something of actual substance shortly. But I should probably get ready for bed now. I am seeing The Little Mermaid on Broadway tomorrow night before it closes and am pretty excited about that. I don't even care if it's not good, I can't imagine not loving it anyway.

Have also purchased a ticket to the Kelly Clarkson concert in October, and just booked my plane ticket to go to the Cylon Attack con (and frolic in London) (and meet airings!) at the end of November.

Those are just two reasons that I am broke right now, ha.

Anyway. Did you know that 39% of Americans don't know that Medicare is government funded? I'm going to go cry now. More later.

Also, the NYT did an entire article about how it's okay for guys to have potbellies now. I don't even know what to say to that, except, too bad I'm not a guy, then.

In other news you can use, marakara reported the following: So You Think You Can Dance's salsa instructor Alex DaSilva was charged with rape. Four women who were students in his dance studio are accusing the 41-year old. DaSilva's attorney said the case was a misunderstanding of “the difference between seduction and rape.” He is being held on $6.2 million bail. Wow, that does not sound good, at all.
