thank goodness for good news

Had a crappy day at work today -- crappy enough that I had McDonald's for lunch. Sigh. Luckily there was good news here and there to lighten the mood.
gnomi and
mabfan have dubbed me Radio Free Dianora and that makes me immeasurably happy.
NBC has officially added Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip to its fall lineup, not that there was any doubt, but confirmation is always nice. Still no word on whether they ordered only 13 or upped it to a full season; will probably have to wait for the upfronts for that.
The TWoP Now or Never shirts for this month are cooler than usual -- there's a Doctor Who shirt, and a Dharma Initiative shirt I'm seriously considering getting. There's also a Prison Break shirt, but you apparently have to read the recaps to get the joke, so, screw that.
I keep forgetting to mention this, but did you hear that the next season of Project Runway is going to air this SUMMER? More Tim Gunn is on the way! Now THAT is good news.
All I really have to say about Survivor tonight is HA HA. And Cirie's husband is high-larious.
My Name Is Earl had an exquisite pop culture reference tonight: "He looked kind of like E.T. when they found him by the river." OMGSOFUNNY. I love that show.
Did anyone watch GH today? Because that fantasy sequence started out SO STUPID, that I was cringing, and then when I realized Patrick was in every one I was laughing my ass off. Well played, GH. And I don't say that to you very often. I think I'm just blinded by my love of Robin/Patrick, who were so cute today I couldn't even stand it.
On a more upsetting note, today my co-worker said the M Word to me. He said, "It's all about the sexual tension. Once they get together it's all over, like on Moonlighting."
And, um, I screamed. Yeah. Good thing I have an office instead of a cubicle.
The capper is, we were talking about -- wait for it -- I DREAM OF JEANNIE. No, really. In any case, I don't think he'll be attempting that argument with me again. Ahem.

Date: 2006-05-05 03:26 am (UTC)Though I can come around to Robin when she's with Patrick, so I'm a big fan of their relationship.

Date: 2006-05-05 06:21 pm (UTC)Awww, I heart Robin. How much of that is due to watching her since she was a wee one, I don't know. I know a lot of people don't like her, though. And I'm completely with you on the Emily hate. Ugh.
